Welcome to Our Open-Mic Holiday Jam - Saturday, Dec. 16th at CAC@SJB

Everyone is welcome to come celebrate Christmas and Kwanzaa with us at the Center for the Arts & Culture @ St. John the Baptist for our Open-Mic Holiday Jam on Saturday, Dec. 16th from 1 - 5 pm. It promises to be yet another memorable afternoon at the Center.. filled with beautiful artwork, powerful poetry, and a little bit of music to celebrate this special Holiday Season.
The event is being hosted by none other than our very own "Pied Piper of Poetry", Luis "Mr. B" Bernard, President of The In Progress Group, and one of the best, and most influential spoken word artists around! Luis has been active with CAC@SJB since 2005; generously giving of his time, talent, and resources to help assist the Center reach another level of growth and involvement with community youth. It is a blessing having him host this special event, but even more so to have him as an intregal part of the CAC@SJB family.
The Open-Mic Holiday Jam will be held at St. John the Baptist Parish's "Hidden Gem", the Center for the Arts & Culture at St. John the Baptist.. located at 75 Lewis Ave. (between Hart St. and Willoughby Ave.) on the 2nd floor of St. John's Parish Center in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
