The Center's Lyrical Sanctuary Returns this Summer.. and it's gonna be HOT!

As Summer 2006 is now upon us, CAC@SJB will be hosting our successful Lyrical Sanctuary gatherings on selected Mondays during the summer. Knowing that most of our teens have been busy studying for their finals and taking their regents exams this past June, we have been just as busy looking to present new activities at the Center for all the youth, teens, and young adults that have attended the poetry workshops, or any of our events at the Center this past year. We congratulate all our teen and adult students who worked hard, studied, and passed on to the next grade, and on to the next level of their education. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU ALL!!

For those of you who don't know.. the Lyrical Sanctuary is an opportunity for the talented and gifted youth and adults of our community to gather at the Center to share one another's gifts, and support one another in a special way. As we continue to grow as artists in our own lives, and our communities, these Lyrical Sanctuary gatherings allow us to be ourselves while we share our writings, our feelings, our dreams, and even our lives with one another. The gatherings always take on a special life of their own, and are different from anything we do at the Center. One thing is for sure, they are always a unique experience, and a lot of fun. The Lyrical Sanctuary will be held on selected Mondays during the summer in the late afternoons (3pm - 6pm), and sometimes in the evenings (6pm - 8pm). We will be hosting a Lyrical Sanctuary soon, right after the 4th of July.. so keep posted to your e-mails for invitation dates and times.

Hope to see you at the Center real soon for the Lyrical Sanctuary.. or at any one of our upcoming events! But most of all.. whatever you all do..
